Every tool in this category collects testimonials and embeds them on your site. The differences show up elsewhere: which channels your customers actually reply on, whether video becomes publishable clips, how many languages your proof has to speak, and how the bill scales. This page compares Plausa with the three tools buyers shortlist most — Senja, Testimonial.to and Trustmary — using their public pricing pages.
Free plan: 10 testimonials and one wall. No card required. Competitor pricing checked August 2026 — verify on their sites before buying.
The 30-second read
Four tools, four different bets. Pick by the constraint that actually blocks you today, not by the longest feature list.
Plausa
Collection on the channels people reply to — public link, a dedicated inbound email address and WhatsApp — plus native FR/EN/ES display, AI polishing and translation, video clip remixing, NPS campaigns and automatic Review structured data.
Best for: multilingual businesses and anyone whose customers answer on WhatsApp or by email.
Senja
The most generous free tier in the category (10 testimonials, unlimited widgets and Walls of Love) and imports from a long list of review platforms. Paid plans start at $29/mo and mainly unlock your own branding, custom domains and more forms and seats.
Best for: founders who want breadth of imports on a flat, unmetered plan.
Testimonial.to
Video-first: submitters record in the browser with no account, and the platform popularised the masonry Wall of Love. Its free (Hobby) tier is tight — around 2 video and 10 text testimonials — and unlimited video sits on a higher tier.
Best for: teams whose entire proof strategy is browser-recorded video.
Trustmary
A wider feedback platform: NPS/CSAT surveys, review imports, analytics and CRM integrations. Pricing is metered by survey responses and widget views, and the tiers scale steeply once traffic grows.
Best for: larger or multi-location organisations that genuinely run surveys.

"Not documented" means the vendor's public pages did not describe that capability when we checked — not that it is impossible. Every row links back to the pages we read.
What each one costs
Entry prices from each vendor's public pricing page, checked August 2026. Currency is USD per month on monthly billing; annual billing is cheaper on all four.

Where Plausa is genuinely different
Four things drove how Plausa was built. If none of them matter to you, a cheaper flat tool may be the better call — and we will say so.
1. Collection on WhatsApp and a dedicated email address
Response rate is the whole game. A form link that sits in an inbox nobody opens collects nothing, which is why Plausa meets customers where they already answer.
One-tap WhatsApp request: a pre-filled wa.me message with your form link, ready to send from your own number.
Every account from Starter gets a unique inbound email address — forward or CC a happy reply and it becomes a draft testimonial.
AI extracts the quote, the sender's name and role from a raw email thread, and you approve before anything goes public.
The public link still works with no account for the customer, on phone or desktop.
2. Native FR/EN/ES, not a translated interface
If you sell in more than one language, single-language proof leaves half your visitors reading quotes they do not understand.
Collection forms, response pages and walls exist in French, English and Spanish.
Each testimonial is translated automatically into the other two languages, with the original always preserved.
Widgets and walls serve the visitor's language, so a Spanish visitor reads Spanish proof.
Public pages carry correct lang attributes and hreflang, so each language version can rank on its own.
3. Video that turns into publishable assets
A raw two-minute webcam clip is not a marketing asset. Plausa does the cutting, captioning and branding for you.
AI finds the strongest moments in a video testimonial and proposes short clips.
Burned-in synced captions, your colours, logo and an optional watermark.
Styled testimonial images for social, with a ready-to-post caption in FR/EN/ES.
Background rendering queue plus batch ZIP download for a whole campaign.
4. NPS, rich snippets, white label and API
The parts that matter once testimonials become a process rather than a one-off push.
NPS campaigns: promoters are asked for a testimonial automatically, detractors are routed to you instead.
Automatic Review and AggregateRating structured data on public walls, for rating-eligible search results.
Sentiment and theme analysis so you can filter proof by the objection a page needs to answer.
Business plan: white-label domains, three included team seats and a REST API with keys you can rotate.
When another tool is the better choice
We would rather you pick correctly than churn in month two.
You need imports from dozens of review platforms (G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Product Hunt and more): Senja's import list is broader than ours today.
Your whole strategy is browser-recorded video and nothing else: Testimonial.to has been optimising exactly that flow the longest.
You want full NPS/CSAT/eNPS survey programmes with CRM sync across many locations: Trustmary is a survey platform, we are a testimonial platform with NPS built in.
You only ever need one language, one wall and fifteen quotes: stay on a free tier — ours included.
Sources and verification dates
Every price, capability and limit on this page comes from a page a vendor published, not from our impressions. Here is what we read and when.
Free 10 testimonials, $13.99 Starter, $24.99 Pro, $49.99 Business, two months free annually — our own published prices.

We re-check this page monthly. If a vendor has changed a price or shipped a capability we mark as "not documented", tell us and we will correct it with a new verification date.
Read next, then convert
The three pages people open right after a comparison.
A tool that requests testimonials from customers, stores them with proof of consent, lets you approve them, and publishes the approved ones on your site through embeds or a public wall page. The alternative — screenshots pasted into a page — cannot be updated, filtered, translated or marked up for search.
Which testimonial software is cheapest?
For unlimited testimonials on a flat plan, Plausa Starter at $13.99/mo is the lowest of the four compared here as of August 2026, with Testimonial.to's entry tier around $20 and Senja's Starter at $29. Trustmary is metered, so its real cost depends on your traffic and survey volume.
Can I collect testimonials over WhatsApp?
With Plausa, yes: you send a pre-filled WhatsApp message containing your collection link from your own number, and the reply flows into the same approval queue as web and email submissions. None of the other three tools documents WhatsApp collection.
Do testimonials help SEO?
Indirectly through engagement and conversion, and directly when a public wall is marked up with Review and AggregateRating structured data, which makes rating-rich results possible. Plausa adds that markup automatically on Pro walls.
Can I move my testimonials out later?
Yes. Plausa exports your testimonials and media, and your embeds read from one approved set, so removing a testimonial removes it everywhere at once. Senja also advertises export, including video.
Is the free plan really usable?
Up to 10 testimonials and one embeddable wall, no card. That is enough to publish real proof on a landing page; you upgrade when you need unlimited testimonials, your own branding or the AI video and NPS features.
