Most NPS tools stop at a number on a dashboard. Plausa treats the survey as the start of a workflow: promoters who answer 9 or 10 are asked for a testimonial in the same breath, detractors are routed straight to you, and every published quote keeps working on your site long after the survey closes.
NPS campaigns are included from the Pro plan. Start free with 10 testimonials and one wall — no card required.
Net Promoter Score is one question — "how likely are you to recommend us?" on a 0–10 scale — plus one open follow-up. The software around it is what decides whether the answers change anything.
A single-question survey sent by email or link, with no login for the respondent and no ten-minute questionnaire attached. Short surveys are the ones that get answered.
Promoters (9–10), passives (7–8) and detractors (0–6) need three different follow-ups. Software that only averages them into one score hides the action.
Detractors should reach a human quickly with their comment attached. In Plausa their answer lands in your dashboard instead of triggering a public request.
A promoter is never more willing to write a testimonial than seconds after clicking 10. Plausa sends that request automatically, pre-linked to your branded collection form.
Everything below already exists in the app — you build a campaign in the dashboard, not with a developer.
Promoters land on your normal collection form — branded, up to five questions, text or webcam video — so the testimonial arrives ready for approval and publishing.
The four steps of a campaign, in the order they happen.
Name it, choose the audience, write the intro line and pick the collection form promoters will be sent to. The 9–10 threshold is the standard NPS definition and is applied automatically.
Contacts receive the one-question email in their own language. Reminders go only to people who have not answered, so nobody gets nagged twice.
Promoters get the testimonial request. Passives and detractors get a thank-you and appear in your dashboard with their comment for a human follow-up.
Approved testimonials go to your Wall of Love and embeds, with automatic French, English and Spanish versions and Review structured data on Pro walls.
Nothing is published without your approval, and consent is captured in the collection form before anything appears publicly.
NPS answers change with timing. These are the moments worth measuring.
| Moment | Why it works | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| 30 days after onboarding | The first result is visible, memory is fresh | Promoters write the strongest early proof |
| After a delivered project | The outcome is concrete and attributable | Ask for a testimonial naming the result |
| On renewal or milestone | Long-term value is easiest to articulate | Collect quotes about staying, not just buying |
| After support resolved a problem | Recovery loyalty is real and measurable | Detractor comments show the fix that matters |
| Quarterly, same cohort | Trend beats a one-off snapshot | Track whether the score moves after changes |
Contacts you import must have a lawful basis for contact, and every survey email carries an unsubscribe path. Survey answers and comments belong to the respondent: a comment only becomes a public testimonial when the person explicitly submits and consents through the collection form, and you can withdraw a published testimonial from every widget instantly. Plausa never invents scores, ratings or quotes — an aggregate rating is only published when it is calculated from real submitted testimonials.
Percentage of promoters (scores 9–10) minus percentage of detractors (0–6). Passives at 7–8 count in the total but not in either side, so the result runs from -100 to +100. Plausa applies these standard thresholds automatically.
That is the usual setup, and it is where the goodwill leaks: the score sits in one tool and the testimonial request never gets sent from the other. Plausa runs the survey and the testimonial collection in the same place, so a 10 becomes a request in seconds.
They are never asked for a public testimonial. They get a thank-you and their comment appears in your dashboard with sentiment and theme analysis, so you can reply personally and fix the cause.
Yes. Each contact has a language, and the survey, reminder and testimonial request are sent in English, French or Spanish accordingly. Collected testimonials also get automatic versions in the other two languages.
NPS campaigns are part of the Pro plan ($24.99/mo, or two months free on annual billing), together with review structured data and the bulk import tools. The free plan still lets you collect and publish up to 10 testimonials.
A score persuades nobody but your own team. What converts visitors is a named quote about a specific result, published where the decision happens — which is exactly what the promoter branch of the campaign is designed to produce.
Import your contacts, send one question, and let every promoter be asked for a testimonial automatically — in their own language.
