Privacy policy — Plausa
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Plausa helps a company collect testimonials from its customers and publish them. Two groups of people are involved: Plausa account holders, and the customers who submit a testimonial through a public link.
What we process
- Account: email, name, company, working language, plan and technical sign-in logs.
- Testimonial: display name, text, optional rating, photo, video or audio file, original language and timestamp — all provided voluntarily by the person answering the form.
- Billing: payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. We never store card numbers.
Why we process it
- Contract performance: running collection, AI polishing, translation and display.
- Consent: a testimonial is published only after explicit consent given in the collection form.
- Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention and aggregate usage measurement.
Processors
- Hosting and database: Supabase infrastructure.
- AI processing (grammar, translation, sentiment): Google Gemini models called through a gateway. Your content is not used to train models.
- Payments: Paddle. Transactional email: Resend.
Retention
- Account data: for the life of the account, then up to 12 months for accounting obligations.
- Testimonials: until removed by the account holder or at the request of the person who gave it.
Your rights
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent at any time.
- For a published testimonial, contact the company that collected it or Plausa, which will forward the request and remove the content.
- EU and UK residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
